Paul Sorensen

Director, Master SCUBA Instructor

Paul has been both a PADI Instructor and SSI Instructor for 10 years. In 2012, won the PADI Solie Award winner for Diving Instructor Excellence becoming the only male in Victoria and third Victorian to be presented with this award.

I get great satisfaction from instructing. Seeing new students walk in with their innocent, naive, unsure faces and walk away with fears overcome, new skills accomplished and a new appreciation for our oceans.

If I am not instructing I always have a camera in my hand. I like taking photos of all the weird and wonderful critters that exist in the ocean and sharing these with others. Especially those who do not dive. People are amazed when they see what actually exists underwater.

I have dived in South Africa, Indonesia, New Zealand, Vanuatu, Tonga, Philippines and Papua New Guinea. In Australia, have dived Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg, Rainbow Beach, Mooloolaba, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, South West Rocks, Forster / Seal Rocks, Nelson Bay, Terrigal, Sydney, Wollongong, Shell Harbour, Jervis Bay, Batemans Bay, Tathra, Lakes Entrance, Melbourne, Bicheno, Maria Island, Freycinet Peninsula, Eaglehawk Neck. And yet so much to do.

A highlight of my diving path so far has been seeing a whale shark at Stradbroke Island in 2008, being the first whale shark to be seen there in over 30 years. Our (buddy Matt and I) story and photos made national and international news. Other highlights include snorkelling with hump back whales in Tonga and cage diving with great white sharks in Gaansbaai, South Africa.

I love diving. I am so passionate about diving. I absolutely enjoy teaching others how to dive and actually care that they get quality training and support. I enjoy listening to other peoples diving stories, sharing photos with friends and family and have a real interest in the protection of our oceans.

Craig Miller

Director, Business Operations Manager

Craig’s formal training is in civil engineering and commerce, having spent over 10 years in the water industry. In recent years Craig has been employed in a financial management capacity. Craig has been diving for about 2½ years.

My diving history is significantly shorter and far less extensive than Paul’s however I have been fortunate to have dived in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, South West Rocks, Eagle Hawk Neck, in addition to the local dives around Melbourne. I also hope to be able to bring some expertise in the commercial aspects of the business to compliment Paul’s diving knowledge.

I love to find new critters and see the continual improvement in my photography skills, and to share the experiences with others.

Sandy Warfe

Dive Master

Sandy, on her honeymoon in Fiji in 2009, Sandy seized the moment to do her open water course. This opened up an underwater world that shortly lead to the completion of her Advanced ticket and since then Sandy has completed her Diver Master accreditation in Vanuatu in 2013, where there was no stopping her diving exploits. Only the arrival of two children since she started diving has paused her passion to don the gear!

Her desire to help others to experience the joy of diving is clearly in her commitment as a Dive Master.
